Ufa bus stops are to be connected to Wi-Fi and equipped with charging devices

Stop pavilions equipped with USB ports for charging gadgets, Wi-Fi, lighting and video surveillance, will appear on the streets of Ufa very soon. Installation of an innovative pavilion and commissioning at the public transport stop "Hotel Bashkortostan" have already begun. Total, more than 60 stop pavilions are planned to be modernized in the capital of the republic, said Rustem Khayrutdinov, development director of Solnechny Krug company. The company plans to introduce new services in Ufa, in particular display panels with maps and charts, so that passengers can quickly navigate their route.

According to the press service of the city administration, the Solnechny Krug Company in 2017 won a tender for the right to place advertising structures, combined with the pavilions. The specialists of the company constantly monitor the condition of the pavilions: they make periodic repairs and cleaning.
