Parent Forum opened in Bashkiria capital

On the International Children's Day, June 1, the Republican Parent Forum opened in Ufa. The forum is attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Children's Rights Ombudsman under the President of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova, the Senator from Bashkiria Liliya Gumerova, the leader of the Parent League of Russia Nina Dobrynchenko-Matusevich and the executive director of the National Parent Association for the Social Support of Family and Family Values Larisa Sanatovskaya, representatives of parent associations from all municipalities of the republic.

The forum is held on the initiative of the Head of Bashkortostan. Its task is to intensify the participation of parents in discussion and decision-making on improvement of educational policy. Within the framework of the forum panel discussions will be held, where it is planned to touch upon issues of protecting children on the Internet, the parents' responsibility for upbringing, and legal regulation in the field of children's rights protection.

Within the framework of the forum there will be four sections: "Healthy generation", "Legal protection of children", "Parents workshop. What should a modern parent know? ","Media safety of children on the Internet ".
