Rustem Khamitov discussed with participants of "Health Resort-2017" Forum issues of resort industry modernization

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the president of the National Health Resort Association Alexander Razumov and the president of the World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy (FEMTEC) Umberto Solimen who take part in the All-Russian forum "Health Resort-2017" in Ufa. The meeting discussed issues of modernization of the sanatorium and health resort industry, improving the efficiency of the republican health resorts.

Speaking about the issues announced by the Head of the Republic, Alexander Razumov noted that their solution could be facilitated by creation of a unified regional management system of the sanatorium and resort complex. As a successful example, he named the network of sanatoriums of the Altai Territory "Belokurikha Resort".

According to the expert, it is necessary to provide places in sanatoriums for healthy clients or family rest without drawing out necessary medical documents. At the same time all republican health resorts must have clear specialization. This will save the amount of means they earn.

"For example, "Yangan-Tau" sanatorium should treat people with musculoskeletal system disorders," noted Alexander Razumov. "The same is with the "Krasnousolsky" sanatorium - a great place to treat gastrointestinal diseases. "

Among other measures to improve the efficiency of the republican health resorts, the president of the National Health Resort Association called the reduction of the tax burden in the part of land and property, as well as a clear control over the incomes and expenses of medical institutions.

Particular attention should be given to training and selection of personnel, not only medical, but also managers, IT-specialists, which ensure the attraction of clients and occupancy of an institution.

Umberto Solimene shared his international experience in dealing with the issues facing the republic. In particular, he proposed to pay attention to the development of the health insurance system, as well as to train specialists in the field of balneology.
