Bashkortostan residents will have two "extra" days off in June

UFA, 31 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In June, residents of Bashkortostan will have two additional days off in honour of the Day of Russia and Eid al-Fitr holiday.

On June 12, the whole country will celebrate the Day of the Russian Federation.

This year, it falls on Monday, so the Russians will rest for three consecutive days - on June 10, 11 and 12.

In addition, in accordance with the decree of the Government of Bashkortostan, June 25, 2017 was declared a non-working holiday in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labour of the region.

In 2017, the non-working holiday of Eid al-Fitr coincides with Sunday. In this case the day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday. Accordingly, the day off from Sunday June 25 is transferred to Monday June 26, 2017. The duration of working hours on Friday, June 23, 2017, are not reduced.

Thus, the days off in a five-day working week in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr will be on June 24, 25 and 26, 2017.
