Emergencies Ministry warns of frosts and squally winds in Bashkiria

UFA, 29 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in Bashkortostan informs that on Tuesday, May 30, wind gusts up to 18 m/s are expected over the region. Fog with visibility of 500-1000 meters is possible on the roads at night and in the morning. The information is provided by the Republican Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.

Tomorrow cloudy weather is forecasted. There are chances of little rains at night, heavy rains in the morning and in the afternoon with thunderstorms in some areas. South-western, western winds 5-10 m/s, with gusts to 18 m/s will be during the day. The temperature at night will be +2, +7 C, reaching +14, +19 C in the day time.

In the south-east of the republic, cloudy weather with sunny periods is expected. Dry at night with light rain in the morning and in the afternoon. The wind at night will be unstable weak, during the daytime 5-10 m/s, with gusts. The mercury will show -3, +2 C at night, ground frosts to -5 C, in the afternoon +14, +19 C.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends citizens avoiding being near power lines, as well as trees and billboards.
