Rustem Khamitov met with winners of WorldSkills Russia and JuniorSkills championships

UFA, 25 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On May 24, in the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with winners of the 5th National Championship "Young Professionals" (WorldSkills Russia) and the 3rd National JuniorSkills Championship.

"I would like to express my gratitude for your good performance representing our republic at significant work skills competitions. We have both champions, silver and bronze medalists", said the Head of the Republic. "It is very good for us, because your work, your activity allows popularizing blue-collar jobs." Rustem Khamitov noted that currently there was a deficit for a number of working specialties.

The Director of the Regional Coordination Centre of WorldSkills Russia and JuniorSkills in Bashkortostan Ilshat Rakhmatullin told about participation results of the republican team in the work skills championships and prospects for the WorldSkills movement development in the region.

The participants of the competitions shared their impressions, further professional and educational plans.

"The main thing, in my opinion, is not ratings, not champion places and not the number of prize-winners of this championship", Rustem Khamitov underlined. "The main thing is that we get more youth involved in learning blue-collar occupations."
