Ufa city centre will be closed for cars for one day and opened for cyclists

UFA, 24 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. On May 28, in Ufa fr om 12.00 to 18.00 traffic will be stopped on Lenin, Pushkin, Zaki Validi, K. Marx, Dostoevsky streets. These measures were taken in connection with the International Bicycle Festival "I BIKE UFA" held in the capital of the republic.

According to the idea of the organizers, this day the city centre will be divided into 10 thematic zones (ecology, science, sports, subcultures, dances and music, children, creativity, culture and art), wh ere more than 100 venues will be waiting for the festival's guests. In the program of the event – cycling quest, competitions in extreme sports (BMX, MTB, skateboard, kick-scooter). Every 15 minutes, various races will start: family, sports, cycling, carnival, unusual bicycles, for lovers.

In addition, master classes on slacklining, yoga from various schools and coaches, streetball, frisbee competitions and "Crazy Races" with its obstacle course are planned.

A magician will perform on the playground, a fair will be held, creative master classes and theatrical performances will be organized. A photo exhibition "Children and Ufa" will appear in Lenin Street.

There will be three bicycle rental points at the festival.
