Residents of Bashkortostan are warned against trips to Tunisia and Thailand

UFA, 17 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Rosturizm advises residents of Bashkortostan, however, as well as all Russians, take careful consideration while planning their holidays at sea. In particular, the agency warns travelers from travelling to Tunisia and Thailand.

Rosturizm recommends tour operators making tours to Tunisia inform customers about potential risks that they may encounter during their stay in this country.

According to the press service of the agency, in Tunisia, which borders with the ISIS countries, tourists should observe personal security measures, exercise vigilance and circumspection, especially during their stay in popular resort areas - Sousse, Hammamet, Monastir and the island of Djerba. It is necessary to refrain from unorganized, especially single trips to the south of Tunisia, completely exclude visits to border areas with Libya and Algeria, and avoid places of mass gathering.

Rosturism also noted the increased terrorist threat in Thailand. Attacks can be committed with the involvement of recruited travel industry personnel from among local residents in the form of accidents and arsons of tourist vehicles, biological and chemical contamination in the locations.

Tourists should avoid spontaneous excursions and entertainment trips around the country, and only visit the events originally planned for the tour.
