Association of Higher Educational Institutions of Russia and Azerbaijan Forum will be held in Ufa

UFA, 15 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The 2nd forum of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of Russia and Azerbaijan will be held in Ufa on May 18-19. The event will discuss such issues as a role of universities in development of regions, international cooperation of universities as a key factor in development of universities, participation of universities in international and national ratings. The program of the forum includes a round table "University - Driver of Regional Economy Development: Russia and Azerbaijan Experience".

The Ministry of Education RB noted that the universities of Russia and Azerbaijan were included in the international educational agenda. They are concerned about maintaining a balance between the quality of education and the cost of international programs, quotas for foreign students training, cost-effective methods of promotion in international educational market and other important issues of international cooperation.

The representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, the rectors of the universities-members of the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities, the flagship universities of the Russian Federation, universities of the consortium of mineral and raw materials universities, universities of the Association of State Universities of the Caspian countries will take part in the forum.

The organizers of the event are the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities and the National Training Foundation.
