Rostrud will check "Light Air" airline after helicopter crash in Bashkortostan
UFA, 11 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Rostrud (Federal Labour and Employment Service) will check the "Light Air" airline in connection with a crash of the helicopter that performed forests patrolling in Bashkortostan.
In particular, the compliance with labour laws and labour protection requirements will be checked at JSC "Light Air", which owns the helicopter.
"In case of violations, the perpetrators will be brought to administrative liability", it is reported on the Rostrud’s website.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, on May 4, the Robinson R-44 helicopter carrying out aviation patrolling of forests crashed in the Beloretsk region of Bashkortostan. The acting head of the Republican Centre for Forest Fires Prevention and Extinguishing Aidar Yangirov, the pilot-observer Damir Shaimukhametov and the employee of the "Light Air" airline Oleg Nikitin died in the catastrophe.
