Bashkiria universities and scientific organizations are invited to participate in Russian Education Ministry contest for mega-grants

UFA, 11 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Higher educational institutions and scientific organizations of Bashkortostan are invited to participate in the contest of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for obtaining mega-grants. As specified on the website of the federal educational institution, grants of the Government of the Russian Federation are allocated in the amount of up to 90 million rubles each for scientific research in 2018-2020.

Russian universities and scientific organizations in cooperation with foreign or Russian leading scientists, holding dominant positions in a certain field of science are entitled to participate in the contest.

The main tasks of scientific research conducted under the supervision of leading scientists in the Russian universities and scientific organizations are as follows: to create world-class research laboratories; to obtain breakthrough scientific results and solve specific issues within the framework defined in the Strategy of the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation; to train highly qualified specialists, including young scientists.

Acceptance of applications will continue till July 14 this year. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation plans to sum up the results of the contest before November 15.
