Victory Day in Moscow was coldest for all post-war history - Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia

UFA, 10 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The Victory Day in Moscow has become the coldest since 1945, according to the Russian Hydrometeorological Centre. The air temperature in the capital reached only 4.6 C. It was cold and 72 years ago on May 9 - the air on this significant day for all Russians warmed up to 7.6 C, the weather forecasters recalled.
This year, due to unfavourable meteorological conditions, the flight display of the Victory Parade was canceled at the last minute. The flight of air equipment was canceled for the second time in the history of the parades. During the Victory Day parade on June 24, 1945, the aircrafts could not get off the ground because of the heavy shower.
