Cold snap is expected on weekend and holidays in Bashkiria

UFA, 5 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkortostan, weather forecasters predict cold and rainy weather in the coming weekend and holidays. The cold atmospheric front going through the territory of the republic will bring the temperature drop accompanied by intermittent rains of various intensity.

According to the Regional Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, at night in some northern regions ground frosts are expected from 0 to -5 C. During the day, the air temperature will not exceed 7-12 C. The wind is expected to be moderate, in some places from gusty to strong.

On May 8 and 9 the air temperature will rise slightly. According to the Hydrometeorological Centre of Russia, the air will warm up to +15, +20 C.
