Unauthorized landfills disposal requires six billion rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 4 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Darya Petrova/. Six billion rubles are necessary to eliminate all unauthorized landfills in Bashkortostan. This amount includes the costs for the design and remediation of landfills. Such data was announced by the Deputy Minister of Nature Management and Ecology RB, Filyus Yakhin, speaking at a meeting of the Committee for Agrarian Issues, Ecology and Nature Management of the State Assembly RB.

According to the Ministry of Environment RB, only since the beginning of the year 46 cases of unauthorized waste disposal have been revealed in the region. Violators were fined for 120 thousand rubles.

Total 277 violations in the field of waste management were recorded in the republic in the first quarter of 2017. The total amount of fines is close to one million rubles.
