Rivers reached maximum flood levels in Ufa

UFA, 4 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Specialists of Bashkir Met Office report that no dangerous hydrological phenomena are registered in the republic. All large water reservoirs operate in the filling mode. The Rivers Belaya and Dema near Ufa have now maximum level of high water; the River Ufimka has already started to decrease.

According to the existing conditions, further declines in water levels are expected in steppe and mountain rivers in the next week, in the River Belaya below Ufa - maximum levels, hydrologists report.

The maximum level of the River Belaya near the capital was forecasted at 7.5 - 8.5 meters. Today it is 7.15 m.
