Gazprom transgaz Ufa and technical universities create research-and-engineering training area

UFA, 28 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Gazprom transgaz Ufa, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) and Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) signed a tripartite agreement on cooperation in the field of education, implying creation of a new specialized research-and-engineering training area on the basis of the Gazprom Transgaz Ufa Engineering and Technical Centre.

The agreement was signed on Thursday, April 27, in the framework of the 5th Interregional HR Forum "The Human Capital of the Country: Challenges of the Regional Strategy of 2030". The document was signed by the general director of Gazprom transgaz Ufa, Shamil Sharipov, the rector of USPTU Ramil Bakhtizin and the rector of USATU Nikolai Krioni.

The main goal of this cooperation is joint scientific and technical research with involvement of the faculty of universities and Engineering and Technical Centre’s specialists of Gazprom transgaz Ufa LLC. Another no less significant point in the agreement is support of training in higher education institutions and obtaining qualitative knowledge and skills for further work in PJSC Gazprom in the effective link "school - university - production" at all stages of training, including internship training at Ufa's Gazprom-class and students during on-the-job training, thesis design.

The USATU rector stressed that signing the agreement was an important event in the history of the university.

In his turn, the USPTU rector thanked Gazprom and, in particular, Gazprom transgaz Ufa, for the systematic work conducting with the universities.

The Engineering and Technical Centre of LLC Gazprom transgaz Ufa has production facilities and laboratories, where the whole range of research is carried out - from design and survey works to diagnostics and equipment repair, basic departments of the USPTU ("Transportation and storage of oil and gas") and USATU ("Gas Transportation") are located at the centre, the staff of the centre supervise the research part of the course and diploma projects.
