Ecological clean-ups were held in Bashkiria despite rainy weather

UFA, 17 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. On April 15, in Bashkortostan ecological clean-ups took place despite the rainy weather.

Total, since the beginning of the ecological campaign, which started on April 8, about 182 thousand citizens of the republic have become participants of cleaning and improving activities. Over 5,000 tons of garbage were collected and transported to landfills and dump sites. Landscaping activities were carried out with planting 67 trees and bushes.

The share of cleaning and improvement of settlements in the region currently stands at 17 percent, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology RB informs.
