UFA, 10 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The Russian marathon runner Alexander Kaper, running along the Moscow-Beijing route, crossed the border of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, and now his route passes through the cities and regions of our republic.
The "Moscow-Beijing - Ready for Future!" race is an application for the Guinness Book of Records. For two hundred days Alexander Kaper plans to cover a distance of 8000 kilometers through three states: Russia, Mongolia and China. The runner started in Moscow on March 4, the finish is expected in Beijing on September 19.
Bashkiria is the sixth region through which the marathon passes. He has already been to Noginsk, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Cheboksary, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny. In each city mass races, interactive work-outs were held.
On April 11, Alexander will run to Ufa. On April 12, there will be a press conference, a mass race and a start of a new stage of the race.

Alexander Kaper – is the Russian runner-traveler, journalists call him the Russian Forrest Gump. In April 2016 he ran one thousand and a half km marathon from Samara to Moscow. In October 2016, Alexander organized a Peacekeeping Marathon on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic. Also, the runner organized in Moscow a series of cross-country excursions "Moscow from Moscow Ring Road to Moscow Ring Road, one of which entered the book of records of Russia, as the longest walking tour of Russia with length of 42 km.
