Bashkir Medical University is awarded prize for medical and pharmaceutical education in Russia

UFA, 10 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) was awarded an annual prize in the field of medical and pharmaceutical education in Russia. The collective of authors headed by the rector of Bashkir State Medical University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Valentin Pavlov was recognized as the winner of the award "Best Practice of Educational and Methodological Support of Educational Courses for 2016".

As explained by the press centre of the university, the award was given for the pilot educational program of professional retraining in the field of nuclear medicine developed by BSMU jointly with Rosnano. It includes comprehensive training of specialists who directly work in this field, namely doctors-radiologists, radiochemists, pharmacists, physicists, medical physicists, chief physicians and chief nurses and management personnel for the positron emission tomography and radiosurgery centres.

Awarding of laureates took place in Moscow within the framework of the 7th All-Russian conference with international participation "Medical Education Week-2017".
