Bashkiria Ministry of Health informed about demographic situation in region

UFA, 7 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. A demographic situation in the region was discussed at the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan. The analysis of indicators was made by the head of the department Anvar Bakirov. He noted that in the first quarter of this year, the death rate in the republic was 12.3 ppm, which is at the level of the same period in 2016.

The Minister named diseases of the circulatory system and neoplasms as the main causes of death in the republic. Also, according to him, external causes make a special contribution to the death rate, in January-March this figure in the region decreased by 17 percent. Including the quantity of suicides has decreased in 1,5 times.

Indicators of infant mortality were announced. It was managed to reach indicators of six ppm per thousand of births in this direction last year. The trend continues to persist. Compared with the first quarter of the last year, this indicator fell by 8.4 percent in 2017.

The data on preventive examination of population and accessibility of appointments to the district doctors were reviewed. The Minister highlighted in his speech the areas where the growth of certain indicators was observed or positive trends were not registered.
