"Aftermath" film about plane crash over Boden See is released

UFA, 6 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. On April 7, the drama "Aftermath" is released in domestic cinemas simultaneously with the start of the world release. The film tells about real events connected with a plane crash over the Boden See in the sky over Germany in 2002. The tragedy occurred with Tu-154 aircraft of Bashkir Airlines and American cargo Boeing 757, killing more than 70 people. Among the victims there were children from Bashkiria flying to Spain for their vacations. The tragedy occurred on the fault of an air-traffic controller. He was later killed by Vitaly Kaloev, who had lost his wife and two children in the plane crash. For the murder, he was sentenced to eight years in prison and released two years later for good behavior.

Vitaly Kaloev part was performed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
