Popularity of private medical clinics is growing in Bashkiria: experts
UFA, 5 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Paid medical assistance was provided to the amount of 3.9 billion rubles in Bashkortostan for two months of the current year. As of March 1, the volume of paid medical services, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency increased by 9.1 percent for the year. The higher growth rate was demonstrated only by telecommunications services - plus 14.4 percent, RBC-Ufa informs .
Currently, more than 20 percent of the medical services market in the republic is occupied by private companies. And this is one of the highest rates among the regions of the country. At the same time, the number of state and private medical institutions is the same.
According to the analysts of the KPMG agency, the popularity of private clinics among the residents of the region is growing, as they consider paid medical care as of higher quality. Bashkiria is on the forty-fifth place in the country in terms of prices: a visit to a paid doctor costs an average of 1.08 thousand rubles. In general, as experts predict, the market of paid medical services will grow at a rate that outstrips inflation.
