Bashkiria Academy of Sciences and Moscow State University will sign Cooperation Agreement

UFA, 4 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan and Lomonosov Moscow State University will sign a Cooperation Agreement. This was negotieated during a meeting in Moscow of the President of the Academy of Sciences RB Alfis Gayazov and the rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy. The meeting was also attended by Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation Arthur Shainurov and the rector of Bashkir State University Nikolay Morozkin.

Alfis Gayazov also met with the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Academician RAS Gennady Onishchenko.

The issues of the need to amend the draft Federal Law "On Science and State Science and Technology Policy" regarding a legal status of academies of sciences created by the entities of the Russian Federation, activities of regional academies of sciences, further cooperation development of RAS with the Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan, scientific and educational organizations of the republic were discussed during these meetings, the Academy of Sciences RB reports.
