This year about 400 pilgrims from Bashkortostan will go to Hajj.

UFA, 3 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. This year about 400 pilgrims from Bashkortostan will go to the Hajj. This is 1.5 times more than the last year, the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims RB reported. More than 20 thousand people of Russia, professing Islam, will be able to visit Mecca, TASS reports.
Last year, the quota for Russia was 16.4 thousand, this year it is increased by a quarter. In past years, quotas were less because of the reconstruction of the main shrine - the Al-Haram mosque in Mecca.
The quota is distributed by regions. The most of all pilgrims will be from Dagestan - about seven thousand people. About 1200 believers will go to the holy land from Tatarstan, about 1,400 from Ingushetia, as well as a large number - from the Chechen Republic, Moscow and Siberia. Crimea will have more than 350 people, Stavropol Territory - 250, Rostov-on-Don - 30, Penza - 150, Novosibirsk – up to 100.
As previously reported by the agency, this year the muftiyat of Bashkortostan defined a single operator, which will deal with the hajj organization - "Ural Service". Believers are offered two programs: "budget" and "standard". The "standard" program will cost 150 thousand rubles, "budget" - 105 thousand. This is the minimum cost of the tour in Russia. There is a hajj committee at the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of the republic. Telephones: 8-903-311-80-53, 8-937-303-37-34.
Pilgrims will fly to Saudi Arabia in mid-August. The pilgrimage will end with the holiday of Eid al-Adha on September 1. The Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and consists of visiting Muslim shrines in Mecca, in particular, the Al-Haram mosque, where the sacred Kaaba is located.
