First in the region historical and cultural complex of European level "Shulgan-Tash" will be built in Bashkiria

By 2019, to the 100th anniversary of the Bashkortostan founding, the first modern historical and cultural complex of the European level Shulgan-Tash will be built in the republic. It will be located in the Burzyan region on the "Land of the Ural-Batyr" site, part of which is now designated as a historical and cultural reserve with special working hours and restrictions on development.

First of all, the museum complex is designed to preserve the unique Paleolithic painting of the Kapova Cave. It will accurately reproduce rock carvings from several of its halls. The same cave painting museums with replication of ancient paintings are in France (Lascaux, Chauvet, Rouffignac, Arcy-sur-Cure) and in Spain (Altamira). But unlike them, the entrance to the Shulgan-Tash Cave will not be closed.

The project cost is 350 million rubles and it will be financed from the budget of the republic.
