Spring in Bashkiria is expected to be unusual – Bashkir Met Office

UFA, 28 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. This year the spring in the republic is expected to be quite unusual, the head of Bashkir Met Office, Vilora Gorokholskaya shared at the press conference.

"Winter does not want to say goodbye to us, in the coming days we expect the same weather. It is forecasted a snowstorm with increasing wind, ice phenomena and a fairly cool range of temperatures. The end of this week is expected to be cold. In some places, it will be 13-18 degrees below zero at clearings. The main background will be also low - minus 2-7 C", said the head of the department.

According to her, the average temperatures and precipitation in April are expected to be within the norm. May "will slightly drier, but the temperatures will be again within normal limits".
