Bashkir Met Office published weather forecast for summer

UFA, 24 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The Bashkir Met Office published a probabilistic forecast for the warm period of the year. According to preliminary data, in April, May, June, August, the air temperature will be near and above normal; In July and September - above the norm. The amount of precipitation in April-August will be around and below the norm, in September - near and above the norm.

The likelihood of this forecast compiled by the Russian Met Office for the central Russia is 69-72 percent. Based on this, it can be concluded that in most part of the country's territory the summer is expected within the average long-term values and above.

This information can be used in agriculture, protecting forests from fires, water transport, energy, the Bashkir Met Office reports. More accurate data will be provided in monthly, ten-day and short-term forecasts.
