Bashkortostan takes part in 8th "Ecology" International Forum

UFA, 20 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Bashkortostan takes part in the 8th "Ecology" International Forum. One of the large-scale events of the Year of Ecology takes place in Moscow and is devoted to the discussion of the most pressing environmental problems of the modern Russia. It is attended by representatives of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, legislative and executive authorities, public environmental organizations. The republic is represented at the forum by the Deputy Minister of Nature Management and Ecology Filyus Yakhin, the head of the Environmental Safety Department of the Ministry of Ecology RB Flarida Remezova.

Welcoming the participants, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the Chairman of the Public Council of the "Public Forum "Ecology" Nikolai Valuev noted the forum’s uniqueness as a venue to discuss the most topical issues and jointly to develop proposals on adjustment of the current legislation, the relevant state policy.

The forum program is extensive and is designed for two days. Among the topics to be discussed at the plenary session, working and panel sessions, there are prospects for the waste management industry development in Russia, elaboration and implementation of regional programs in the field of waste management, current issues and prospects for professional environmental education, introduction of the best available technologies, eco-marketing and formation of a green brand.
