Rustem Khamitov congratulated Bashkortostan women on International Women's Day

On March 6, at the House of the Republic on the eve of the International Women's Day, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with socially minded representatives of the region that achieved success in their professions and citizens. Many of them are mothers of large families. The Head of the Republic congratulated them on the coming holiday and wished new achievements.

Head of the Republic noted the need to strengthen the family institution, to improve the demographic situation, support young people.

They discussed the issues of education, health, development of youth sports and business in the republic.

Thus, the Chairman of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Bashkortostan Alla Kuzmina told about the project "Entrepreneurship at School", which was implemented in four pilot schools in Birsk and Blagoveshchensk to create the right attitude of children to business.

The Executive Director of the Association of Bashkortostan Business Organizations Irina Abramova told about the work of the Centre for Social Innovation RB headed by her. At the "Sochi-2017" Russian Investment Forum the Centre was awarded a diploma in the special nomination of the Ministry of Economic Development RF "Best Practice of Social Innovation Centre".

The Paralympic swimming champion Oksana Savchenko told about lack of coaches for people with disabilities, as well as reluctance of young people to work in this area because of low salaries.

The General practitioner of Ulu Telyak medical ambulance Iglino Central Regional Hospital Lyailya Mavlikasova proposed to revive practice of mobile fluorography stations. According to her, it will allow to organize timely photofluorographic examination of residents in remote settlements. Also other mobile units are needed for mammography, cardiology and other examinations, preventing emergence of diseases in the early stages.

Rustem Khamitov noted that the issues discussed at the meeting would form a basis of special instructions to the Government of the republic.
