Ministry of Health is implementing medical services quality management system in Bashkortostan

UFA, 6 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Ministry of Health RB implements a quality management system of medical services. The Roszdravnadzor Monitoring Centre plans to select medical institutions of the republic at different levels of medical care, where for three years a pilot project aimed at building a quality management system and development of internal quality control and safety of medical activityies will be implemented. On the basis of the developed models in the future all other medical facilities Bashkortostan will join these activity.

As explained by the press-service of the agency, the state program of the Russian Federation "Health Care Development" provides for introduction of this system in the coming years in 95 percent of health care organizations. In 2016, pilot projects in this area were implemented in six Russian regions. In the current year, the regional Ministry of Health joined it. The Agreement on Cooperation was concluded a few days ago by the Ministry of Health RB and the Centre for Monitoring, Clinical and Economic Expertise Roszdravnadzor.

As part of the signed document representatives of medical institutions of the republic will take part in the scientific-practical conference "Development of Quality Management Systems for Medical Institutions. International and Russian Practice", which will be held in Moscow on March 14-16.
