Papers submission for Aksakov Award has begun in Ufa

UFA, 2 March 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Ufa, it has begun to accept papers for S.T. Aksakov City Award. Students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions can take part in the competition, the press service of the City Council informs. Works will be accepted until September 1, at the S.T. Aksakov Memorial House-Museum at Z.Rasulev Street 4.

Students are encouraged to take part in the competition in the following nominations: the best research work; the best work of applied character; the best educational work connected with life and work of the S.T. Aksakov and his family.

An expert committee composed of professors of the leading universities of the city will evaluate the works. The contest committee will recommend authors of the best works to the Office of Ufa City Council for the awarding.

The winners from among university students will be awarded four prizes in the amount of 10 thousand rubles; the winner among the students of secondary special educational institutions will receive an award of eight thousand rubles. Besides, one of supervisors, whose students repeatedly became laureates, will also be awarded. The awarding ceremony of the competition will be held in late September in the framework of the 27th International Aksakov Festival.

The Aksakov Award, established by the deputies of Ufa City Council to encourage talented young people, appeared in 1992. This year the competition and the prize celebrate their 25th anniversary.
