More than two thousand pancakes were baked and about half million rubles were collected at charity event in Ufa

More than 2 000 pancakes were baked in Ufa at a "Sunny Pancake" campaign organized by the Markhamat Charitable And Educational Foundation. The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova, the Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly RB Yumabika Ilyasova, the Minister of Culture RB Amina Shafikova, representatives of business and public organizations.

The total funds collected during the campaign amounted to 463.6 thousand rubles, the organizers said. The money is intended for the treatment of five-year old Aisha Rashitova suffering from hearing loss. The girl needs two hearing aids.
