Most popular presents on February 23 and March 8

UFA, 21 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The HeadHunter website (hh.ru) conducted a study on gifts presented in companies on the eve of February 23 and March 8.

It turned out that representatives of mining industry congratulate their employees on the Defender of the Fatherland Day most of all. More than 90 percent of them indicated that their companies decided to mark the February 23 and March 8 that is presenting gifts and arranging a buffet table.

The second highest number of celebrating these holidays were representatives of "media, marketing, advertising" - 74 percent of respondents. The third and fourth place went to the oil and gas industry and the civil service - 73 and 72 percent.

It was also found out that the majority of employers, or 65 percent of the employees present classic "male" and "female" gifts. On February 23 it is usually - T-shirts, alcohol, cigarette lighters; on March 8- flowers, candies and cosmetics. At the same time 37 percent organize a festive table at the company’s expense.

Another 14 percent said that their leadership tried to express creativity in choice of gifts, and eight percent of respondents said that the company paid for joint visit to the cinema/bowling alley/ ice rink.

Thus, the majority of respondents said they would be more than happy with collective trips to the cinema or bowling alley (32 percent) than traditional gender gifts (19 percent).

Another 17 percent of respondents expect their company be more creative in gifts on February 23 and March 8.

More than two thousand people participated in the poll.
