One-time social payment program at child birth is to exceed 1 billion rubles - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 16 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The program of one-time social benefits to young families at the birth of a child will exceed 1 billion rubles. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov stated this at the extended meeting of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB Board.

“We are preparing now a draft Decree of the Head of the Republic, according to which young families with children will be supported. First of all, this list will include those who need housing improvement, and there are many of them”, said Rustem Khamitov. “This program will be expensive for our republic exceeding more than 1 billion rubles. It is good that we have such a possibility, the republican budget was executed with a surplus last year.”

According to the Head of the Region the text of the decree is now carefully studied.

“We are working on this decree now in order to avoid irregularities and injustice. In particular, we have said that we will provide support to the families starting from 2017. I've already received a number of letters where young mothers write: "My child was born in December 2016. Am I entitled to this support or not?" Rustem Khamitov said. “It is understood that we should avoid such inconsistencies. We must cover with this support as much of young mothers and fathers as we can to help them in their family formation.”
