Bashkiria Embassy in Moscow hosted meeting of Russian Small and Medium-Sized Cities Association

UFA, 16 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. An annual meeting of the Small and Medium-Sized Cities Association of Russia, which includes and Bashkortostan took place in the conference hall of the Plenipotentiary Representative Office RB under the President of the Russian Federation in Moscow. Our republic was represented at the meeting by the head of Sterlitamak city administration Vladimir Kulikov and the State Duma deputy Alexey Izotov. The meeting was attended by delegates from different cities of Moscow, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod, Pskov, Kurgan, Tambov, Orenburg, Yaroslavl, Kaluga Regions, Stavropol Territory, the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.

The President of the Small and Medium-Sized Cities Association of Russia, the head of the Dmitrov municipal district of Moscow region Valery Gavrilov, the acting executive director of the All-Russian Congress of Municipalities Olga Guy, the member of the State Duma Committee for Financial Markets of the Russian Federation, the Vice-President of the Small and Medium-Sized Cities Association Alexey Izotov, the Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Construction RF Maria Derunova delivered reports at the meeting. They discussed issues such as development of municipal-private cooperation, cooperation of the Association with the Children from Deprived Backgrounds Support Fund, the All-Russian competition of municipalities for the best municipal practices in 2017, participation of the Association in the Economic Forum "Small Cities of Russia - 2017 "and the annual All-Russian festival "Primordial Russia". The results of ratings of the Russian cities sustainable development, investment projects were discussed, the head of the press centre of the Bashkortostan Embassy in Moscow Gulchachak Hannanova informs.
