BST Channel has won first place in "City in Media Mirror" International Competition

UFA, 15 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The "Telecentre" program by BST Channel took the first place in the "City in Media Mirror" International Competition. It was the best in the "Safe City" category. Two programs were sent for the competition - "Dangerous Neighbourhood" and "Safe Bus Stops".

"The first program raised the issue of non-residential premises location in apartment houses in Ufa. Then dozens of excited viewers phoned in, many issues were immediately put on notice by supervisory authorities", told the press-secretary of the BST Lucia Davlieva. "It is no secret that some organizations conduct illegal alterations that can lead to a collapse of the entire house; they do not comply with sanitary regulations, and simply ignore the interests of their neighbours".

The air dedicated to safety at public transport stops in Ufa gathered at the venue of the "TV Centre" all agencies interested in improving the situation and identified a number of flaws in the legislation on the passenger transport organization.

The "City in Media Mirror" International Competition is held by the International Assembly of Capitals and Megacities of the CIS (MAG). It is annually attended by more than 100 journalists of newspapers and television radio companies of megacities. This year the geography of participants is represented by not only the near abroad, the works were sent from Paris (France) and Zurich (Switzerland), the Republic of Belarus. Each year, the competition is attended by journalists from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Khabarovsk, and other cities.
