Bashkortostan drummers and majorettes ensemble will take part in carnival in France

UFA, 15 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The ensemble of drummers and majorettes "Derzhava" of M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University will participate in the traditional annual International Carnival in France. The festival will be held in Nice from February 17 to 23.

A proposal for participation was received from the mayor's office of the French city, the Baton Twirling and Majorettes Federation, the Association of Majorettes and Drummers of Russia.

Participants of the "Derzhava" ensemble will perform daily in two processions of the carnival. Now the girls are actively training, as the specificity of the carnival involves other setting than on the stage, as well as interactive communication with the audience. The program is divided into several major and minor celebrations.
