13-year-old boy from Bashkiria participates in "You are Super!" NTV musical project

UFA, 13 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Eighth grader from Bashkortostan Ivan Yuzhakov participates "You are Super!" in the NTV musical project. The show was premiered on February 11.

The peculiarity of the project is that the participants are talented children from children's homes, boarding schools and children from foster families between the ages of seven to 18 years. They are given an opportunity to demonstrate their vocal abilities to a professional jury and millions of viewers, to work with the best music teachers and producers.

Ivan Yuzhakov is 13 years old, he studies at the secondary school in the Nugush village and is brought up by his grandmother. He is engaged in singing since six years old. Because of his desire, perseverance and hard work, the boy more than once became the winner, the Grand Prix holder of city and regional vocal competitions.

92 children from one thousand and a half applicants passed a pre-selection for the children's music contest. Their performances are evaluated by opera and pop singer Margarita Suhankina, composer and music producer Victor Drobysh, singer Elka and singer Stas Pjeha.

Finalists of the "You are Super!" contest will be able to take part in the qualifying rounds of other international competitions -"Junior Eurovision" and "New Wave", as well as to be shot in the "The SHKID Republic" musical.
