Russian marathoner will run to China through Bashkiria

UFA, 9 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The Russian marathon runner Alexander Kaper starts his running journey. For two hundred days he plans to cover a distance of 8000 kilometers from Moscow to Beijing, to cross the borders of three countries and sixteen Russian regions, as well as to hold 100 events along the route. The "Moscow-Beijing - Ready for Future!" race is an application to the Guinness Book of Records. It will go through Vladimir, Cheboksary, Kazan, Ufa, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude. In addition, each resident of these cities can feel like a bit of a marathon runner and run part of the way together with Alexander Kaper, and among other things, plunge into a wonderful world of cinema.
According to the organizers of the marathon, Alexander Kaper intends to enter in the history of world cinema as an actor, for whom the whole of Russia will be a film set. A crew from Europe is invited to shoot a film about the marathoner’s journey with the working title "On the Run".
The runner will start fulfilling his dream from the Red Square on March 4. He plans to reach Ufa on April, 10. In the capital of Bashkortostan, Alexander is planning to hold a number of events, including a mass sprint. Organizers will inform later about the exact date and place of the meeting with the marathoner.
This is not the first marathon race of Alexander Kaper. His track record includes individual one thousand and a half km marathon from Samara to Moscow, the race at + 34 C from Sevastopol to Simferopol, 109 km along the Moscow Ring Road at -14 C.
