It is expected to make up working professionals deficit through WorldSkills movement in Bashkiria

UFA, 2 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Ufa is preparing for the second regional championship "Young Professionals" - WorldSkills Russia and JuniorSkills. For the first time a business program will be organized for the participants.

Competitions of young professionals in the region will be held at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and colleges of the republic from February 13 to 17. The events are conducted in accordance with the Decree of the Head of Bashkortostan, the Youth Chamber under the State Assembly RB informs.

Working Professions Championship will be held in Bashkortostan for the second time. 150 students of professional educational institutions (from 16 to 22 years) and 110 schoolchildren will take part in it. The winners of the regional stage will reach the All-Russian qualifying rounds and have a chance to be included in the national team of Russia.

"We're not just talking about changing the education program, teaching new disciplines. This is a pivotal change in the approach to our secondary education system. The Championship is aimed at promotion and development of the "Young Professionals" movement in Bashkortostan", said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov on the air of " Vesti. The Vice Premier said that all 23 competences for which the competitions take place at the regional championship are also included in the list of national and international stages. They also meet the needs of the Russian economy and are among the 50 most sought-after in the labour market. The list was focused on high-tech industries and services.
