Bashkiria residents will have four-day holiday in honour of February 23

UFA, 2 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In honour of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, the residents of Bashkortostan can have a four-day holiday - February 23, 24, 25 and 26, and from Thursday to Sunday.

In accordance with the Labour Code of Russia, February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day - is a non-working holiday.

This year, for the management of public holidays by the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation a day off from Sunday January 1 is transferred to Friday, February 24.

The working hours on Wednesday February 22 are reduced by one hour. Thus, the holidays are: February 23, 24, 25, 26.

On the basis of Article 120 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation while providing annual or annual additional paid leave the day of public holiday on February 23 is not included in the number of calendar days of leave.
