Bashkiria Emergency Ministry warns of blizzards and snow drifts

UFA, 2 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Ministry of Emergency Situations in RB warns of blizzards and snow drifts. Referring to the republican Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Office, the ministry reports that on February 3, a cloudy weather is expected in the region.

Light occasional snow is forecasted, at nights – up to moderate. In some areas blizzards, snow drifts on the roads with north, northwest winds at a speed of 7-12 m/s are expected. Gusts may reach up to 17 m/s. At night the air temperature will drop to -16, -21 C , reaching -12, -17 C during the day. Visibility deterioration from 500 to 1000 m will be observed in some spots of roads.
