More than 500 people are down with Hong Kong flu in Bashkortostan

UFA, 1 February 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. 504 people came down with the Hong Kong flu (H3N2) in Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Health RB disclosed the information. As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the incidence of influenza and SARS was above the epidemic threshold in the republic, but only in the adult population (30.6 percent). However, the incidence is going down compared with the last week.

Rospotrebnadzor RB announced about the beginning of the influenza and SARS disease epidemic on January 9. On January 11, the Ufa administration decided to quarantine all schools in the capital. It lasted until January 21 inclusive.
