Residents of Bashkiria are not required to pre-arrange visa documents for travel to UAE

UFA, 30 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The residents of Bashkortostan, however, like all Russians, do not longer need to pre-arrange their visa documents for travelling to the United Arab Emirates. Tourists will be issued visas up to 30 days upon arrival at the airport. After this period it can be extended once for another month, according to the state news agency WAM.

The Emirates government took this decision to strengthen the ties between the two countries, both economic and tourist.

Previously, visas were issued within one week, it cost was $ 85.

The report also notes that UAE has received more than 600,000 Russian tourists in the past two years.
