Bashkortostan Customs named major trading partner countries in export and import

UFA, 25 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Bashkortostan Customs named major trading partner countries of the republic in export and import. Most of the goods were exported to China, Finland, India, the Netherlands and Ukraine, imported - from China, Germany, USA, Denmark and Japan. This was told by the head of the department Marat Safiullin at a press conference organized by the "Interfax-Volga" agency. The head of the department summed up the Bashkortostan Customs’ activities in 2016 and noted that the foreign trade turnover of the region amounted to 1.4395 billion dollars. The main share was accounted for exports - 1101,2 million dollars (76.5 percent), imports - 338.3 million dollars (23.5 percent). The foreign trade turnover fell by 18.8 percent compared to the last year's period.

Most often engineering products (aircraft engines) are supplied from Bashkortostan to other countries - 38.5 percent, chemicals (styrene, rubber, soda ash) - 37.5 percent, mineral products (liquid pyrolysis products) - 12 percent. The republic imports engineering products (poultry equipment, boilers, valves, cars, compressors) - 49.7 percent, chemicals (adsorbent catalysts, PVC resin, polyethylene, Trigonox) - 29.7 percent, metals (ferrous metals, zinc, copper rod).

Marat Safiullin added that the major exporters in the region were PJSC "UMPO", "Enterprise of Industrial Railway Transport" LLC and JSC "Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant". The goods are received from abroad mainly by PJSOC Bashneft, OJSC Salavatneftehimremstroy, "RSH" LLC.
