Ufa blogger-confectioner was nominated for International Internet Shorty Awards

UFA, 19 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Ufa confectioner from Ufa Olga Noskova was nominated for Shorty Awards which honours the best in the field of social media and content.

As noted on the official website of the ceremony, Olga Noskova attracted the attention of the Internet community in May last year when the BuzzFeed edition devoted her one of its publications.

In just one day, the Ufa confectioner’s Instagram followers number soared up from 34 thousand to 300 thousand people, and other foreign media started to discuss her culinary creativity. Now more than 600 thousand people are signed on her, according to Life.ru.

The award winner is selected by the jury, which is based on individual assessments and the results of a survey of Internet users. Voting for nominees will continue until February 16, and the awarding ceremony itself will take place in April.

The Shorty Awards was established by Sawhorse Media in 2008. Annually the jury marks the most significant and interesting social network users.

Among the award winners are Michelle Obama, Taylor Swift, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
