632 twins and 12 triplets were born in Bashkiria in 2016

UFA, 18 January 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkortostan last year 632 twins and 12 triplets were born, the State Committee for Justice informs.

In 2016, the region registrar bodies registered over 56 thousand acts of birth. The first children were born in more than 20 thousand families, the second children – in about 23 thousand, the third children – in more than eight thousand, the fourth children – in more than two thousand, and the fifth and more in 964 families. 28 757 boys and 27 003 girls were born.

18 600 newborns came to life in Ufa, and the number of girls exceeded the number of boys by 528. Among the young Ufa residents there are 250 twins and seven triplets.
