Rustem Khamitov congratulated citizens of Bashkortostan on New Year 2017

The New Year holiday gives each of us joy of communicating with our loved ones, an opportunity to express our warm feelings to them.

Together we achieved a lot in the past year. We tried to make life in the republic better, brighter, and more interesting. Bashkortostan has strengthened its position as one of the leading centres of business, culture, science and sports.

Of course, we also had some hardships. But due to our work and perseverance, we have made important steps forward and have created a good foundation for our further development. Wide horizons opened to our republic with new friends around the world. I believe that the coming year will be time of great deeds, even more uniting us to the benefit of our native land.
