City's main New-Tree was illuminated in Ufa

UFA, 28 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. The city's main New-Tree Tree was illuminated in Ufa yesterday evening. An opening ceremony of the ice town was also took place there.

Cartoon characters played fun games with children who came at the festivities with their parents. And the main character of the pageant was the Magic bag of the Grandfather Frost. Folk ensembles of the city entertained visitors with songs and dances. The culmination of the festival was the lighting of the lights on the New-Year Tree. The holiday was closed with a great round dance around the New-Year Tree with the Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden, the press service of the city administration informs.
