Significant and memorable dates calendar is published in Ufa for 2017

UFA, 27 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. A calendar of significant and memorable dates of 2017 is published in Ufa. It features public, global and international holidays and anniversaries in the social, political, military and cultural life of Russia and Bashkortostan. The publication includes the anniversaries of settlements, enterprises and organizations of the republic, contains information about prominent figures in the region.

The list of public holidays, commemorative days and anniversaries is based on archival materials of Bashkortostan and information institutions, derived from the republican executive bodies and local authorities, supplemented by information from encyclopedias, reference books and periodicals, the regional Record Office reports.

The calendar for the first time is provided with an alphabetical index. Its electronic version is available on the website of the Record Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the "Historical Calendar" section.
